Seniors Got The Holiday Spirit Thanks to MPITHCC! Once again, the Meeting Professionals International Texas Hill Country Chapter is honored the Senior Companions of San Antonio with our annual holiday party at Sunset Station on December 5, 2011.
We celebrate the countless hours these seniors spend helping other seniors in San Antonio through the Senior Companions program coordinated by Christian Senior Services and thank them for their devotion and love to others.
The members of MPI-THCC hosted a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, local holiday entertainment, gift cards and gift bags for over one hundred seniors in this program.
Mary Reynolds, Director of Community Outreach for MPITHCC says, “This is one of our chapter’s favorite events during the year because it not only brings the holiday spirit to these dedicated seniors but it warms the hearts of all our members.”
Mary also reminds us that we ABSOLUTELY could not do this without our many generous sponsors!

Make a Difference through THCC's Charities "We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give."
- Sir Winston Churchill, British politician (1874 - 1965)
We all know that our current climate, economic and otherwise, has caused many cutbacks and prices to increase across the board. What better time than now to show our appreciation for what we have been blessed with and to share our good fortune with someone else?
MPI has always been a great resource to help us in our professional lives. The MPI Community Outreach Committee is a resource to help us in our personal lives. There is no greater joy than giving to those who are less fortunate whether it is a monetary gift or just the gift of our time and resources. You don't have to be a Community Outreach Committee member to give; you just have to have a heart and a desire to know that incredible feeling of knowing that you've made a difference in someone else's life.
