Annual Awards Call For Nominations
Nominations must be submitted by
Friday, May 16th

Each year MPITHCC recognizes chapter members who exemplify the finest in the meetings and hospitality industries. These awards, presented at the Annual Awards Banquet at the Embassy Suites Austin-Central on May 30th, officially recognize planners and suppliers who have made significant contributions to the chapter and the industry.

Award categories are: Planner of the Year, Supplier of the Year and Rising Star.

CAMP MPI 2008
CAMP is going to be held at the Hilton Waco Hotel November 13-14, 2008. CAMP Director Ellen Forsythe, CMP has requested more committee help for CAMP this year. Easy Cheesy Lemon Squeezy Meeting Planning
If your boss came to you and said, “I want you to coordinate this upcoming meeting. I have the venue, the speaker, and the marketing and invites are done. You just need to coordinate.” Would you be excited? You bet you would! That’s what we are offering. The Education Committee is looking for volunteers to help coordinate upcoming monthly meetings. The venues and speakers are set. All you have to do is coordinate with all the players and make sure the event runs smoothly onsite. Best Practices and Potentially Perilous Pitfalls
Industry attorney Kelly Franklin Bagnall will share legal concepts and legal consequences if alterations and amendments are made to the language of contracts. She will also discuss the most common amendments or alterations to contracts; as well as address the best methods to memorialize amendments.

May 30 - MPITHCC Annual Banquet - Ending on a High Note
Donna Harbers, CMP MPI THCC President requests the pleasure of your company as the MPI THCC chapter closes out another year – on a high note. You have the opportunity to network while perusing the wonderful silent auction items. All proceeds of our silent auction go to our Scholarship Fund.
